Instructions for Free Agents
Are you an individual player looking to join a team? Use the Free Agent Pool advertise yourself to team captains who are on the hunt for additional players.
Register as a free agent
Register as a free agent in any program to indicate your interest in playing in that league. Answer the list of questions about the level of play, position, and other pertinent information that captains might need to know. If we get enough free agents registered in any program with enough space to add new teams, we will run a Free Agent Team to compete in that league.
Get drafted
Captains will search the Players list in their league and message players if their teams need new players for the season or single-match subs. There is no guarantee that you will be placed on a team.
Find Your Match
You will receive an e-mail from the team captain, where you can share your playing experience and preferred position(s); if you mutually agree the team is a good match, the captain can invite you to their roster.
Join the Team and Get in the Game!
Join your team, hit the field, and experience the joy of soccer while building connections and having fun!
It does not cost anything to register for the Free Agent Pool - you will only be asked to pay money if you agree to join a team.
Instructions for Team Captains / Players Looking to Recruit
Find A Player
Find a player registered to your program and select "Send Message."
Message a player
Send the player an introductory email asking about their playing experience, preferred position(s), and any information you'd like to provide about your team (how long you've been playing in District Soccer, team culture, playing style, etc).
Send an invitation
If you mutually agree that the free agent and your team are a good match, you can send them an invite to join your roster for the season. You can also reach out to free agents throughout the season if you're looking for single-match subs
